Constitutional Litigation

What is Constitutional Litigation?

Constitutional litigation is the defense against violations committed by authorities that infringe upon Human Rights—one of the guarantees granted by the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States, especially after its recent reforms.

Constitutional litigation refers to constitutional procedures such as amparo proceedings, constitutional controversies, actions of unconstitutionality, and class actions, recently incorporated into our Constitution, brought before federal bodies such as District Courts, Collegiate Circuit Courts, and the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation.
